A great deal of effort goes into the selection of the raw ingredients that we use in our restaurant. We are always seeking out the finest agricultural produce that Italy has to offer. Seasonal fresh vegetables arrive in our kitchen each morning. Our meat is sourced from selected producers, we specialise in serving beef from three breeds of white cattle from the central Appenines: these are Marchigiana, Romagnola and Chianina. Cheeses and cured meats are chosen from small farms making products with prestigious DOP and IGP status.
Truffles and mushrooms are served fresh, according to their availability. We believe that the care that we take in selecting our ingredients is reflected in the wonderful flavours that our guests experience in the restaurant.
We want the food served in our restaurant to express the quality and authenticity of the raw ingredients used in the kitchen. Our aim is that customers will experience the genuine flavours of our food, whether they are served in a traditional recipe or a modern interpretation of a classic dish.
Our bread and pasta are hand made every day and the dishes on our menu are chosen according to the availability of seasonal ingredients.
The interior of our restaurant provides a warm and comfortable environment for our guests in the cooler winter months. In the spring and summer most guests prefer to dine outdoors, the garden, at the front of the restaurant, with its view of the beautiful Niccone Valley, is the perfect spot for al fresco lunches and dinners.
Our staff, who provide a polite and attentive service delivered with a smile, are the additional ingredient that results in our many contented customers.

Ristorante Simone Corsetti started in 2013 when Simone took over the restaurant above the Girasoli di Sant’Andrea winery. His aim has been to improve and build upon the tradition of this popular establishment.
TripAdvisor
“We visited the restaurant on the recommendation of our Italian host. He named it as somewhere that he would go for dinner, i.e. not a tourist trap. The meal started with a complimentary glass of prosecco on the terrace in front of the restaurant, then we moved inside. The pasta "primi" were a highlight - ravioli stuffed with duck meat (for my partner) and with ricotta and basil (for me). Each €12. The meat "secondi" were seriously large and tasty - a thick cut steak (for my partner) and a chicken and mushroom dish (for me). €10-16. We couldn't manage a pudding, although the chocolate dishes were tempting! It was good to see that our room of the restaurant catered to us (English), an Italian family and a group of Italian men who were clearly in the mood for a good steak! Simone's service was warm and professional. We appreciated his guidance with the wines from his vineyard.” TripAdvisor
A cosy ambience in the winter, a large welcoming garden in the summer and cooking that follows the availability of seasonal ingredients.
